Southwest Job Network (SJN) is pleased to announce an upcoming West Valley event, “Module 1: Manage the Emotions of a Career Transition and Develop Your Vision.” You are invited to join us on Monday, Sept. 28th, 2009 for an evening workshop.
SJN greatly appreciates that this event is made possible through the support of and partnership with Glendale Community College.
Event Details
Are you “underemployed”? “Downsized or rightsized?” Plain old “Laid off”? In this time of transition, you experience a roller coaster of emotions. Learn how to manage these emotions and discover opportunities to increase your confidence and develop a winning attitude for job search success. Finally, develop your own short-term and long-term career vision based on your situation.
Important Note: This initial module sets the foundation for the rest of SJN's Curriculum. Even if you feel your emotions, attitude, and confidence are fine, that will not be the case for everyone you interact with, and therefore you will still benefit by attending this session.
